Before using the services (hereinafter “Services”) offered by SocietyDining, you agree to read and accept these Terms and Conditions (T&C).

By becoming a member (hereinafter “Member”), you agree to abide by these T&C.

This commitment is effective by joining the mailing list located in the sign-up form. In the absence of such a commitment, you cannot continue your registration process and do not have access to the use of Services offered by the Internet www.societydining.com website (hereinafter “Site”).

These rules have been in compliance with the law in order to preserve the freedom of users and provide Internet service.


Website: Website accessible from the address www.societydining.com
SocietyDining: Service provider in charge of managing the site.
Member: Valid user registered with the site after being appropriately certified and accepting of these terms and conditions.
Services: Refers to the services offered on the Website to Members in the form of dining events between individuals for personal, leisure and non-commercial reasons.
Event: Specifies a date and time when Members of the site meet in the place of the partner.
Member Account: Information relating to a Member consisting of certain elements (profiles, pictures, tastes, personal information) that characterize it.
T&C: Terms referring to this Agreement where applicable, without limitation or qualification, to all the services offered by SocietyDining.

Article 1: Purpose of the service

Service ScoietyDining is organising dining events between members.

Article 2: Terms of Access

2.1 Connecting to online services
The equipment (computer, software, telecommunications, etc..) and telecommunication charges for access to the Services are the sole responsibility of the Member, as well as communication costs induced by their use.

2.2 Condition to be Member
To be a Member of the Site, the following conditions must be met:
To be at least 25 years of age;
To have read and accepted the T&C;
To have completed the mandatory fields on the registration form;
The User guarantees the truthfulness and accuracy of the information provided, and is committed to make necessary updates through accessing their Member Profile.
SocietyDining has no obligation to verify the authenticity of the alleged identity of its members and does not have the technical and / or legal abilities to assess it.

In case of doubt on the reality of the information disclosed by the Member, SocietyDining reserves the right to:
Suspend access to the Member Profile to perform necessary checks.
Request a photocopy of a valid and official identification.
In case of non-disclosure of that evidence within 8 days, or in case of identity theft confirmed, the Member shall be deemed contrary to these T&Cs and his account will be terminated in accordance with Article 8.

SocietyDining has the rights to cancel an account, with or without notice at any time and at its own discretion.
Validation of registration is at the discretion of SocietyDining.

Article 3: Participation / Registration for SocietyDining

SocietyDining organises dining events between individuals.
The member then pays a deposit via a secure payment (see Article 4) for participation. Participation includes the matching process with other SocietyDining members, a host to meet and greet, and the service. Dates, times and locations of events are communicated through email and / or SMS within 48 hours before event.

Article 4: Prices and Conditions of Payment

4.1 Terms of payment and secure payment
Payments are made by Debit and Credit Card (Visa, Eurocard / MasterCard and other cards authorized by the payment solution PAYPAL: Members are to directly provide these card details in the fields provided: the card number, the expiration date and the security code). The total amount of the order will be charged to the credit card on the day of the order. SocietyDining reserves the right to suspend or cancel any provision for non-payment of any sum payable by you or incident of payment of any kind.
To ensure a level of security and high confidentiality of transactions, SocietyDining adopted the secure payment system using SSL encryption technology that secures data related to personal information and payment. SSL is an encryption method that protects all the stored data of credit cards that customers provide when paying online. We use SSL of PAYPAL to protect data of your credit card against any misuse.

Article 5: Obligations and Responsabilities

5.1 Obligations and Responsabilities of SocietyDining
SocietyDining undertakes to provide Members with an online service that conforms to best practices and legislation.
SocietyDining cannot be held responsible for the use made of the Services by Members in violation of these Terms and any direct or indirect use that could cause a Member or a third party. SocietyDining cannot be liable for misrepresentations made by a Member and their behavior. SocietyDining assumes no responsibility in dining events between members due to the use of the Services that would be caused by another member or by any other third party in this place of the meeting.
SocietyDining is acting as an intermediary between Members and Partners, and despite the great care taken in the selection of the latter SocietyDining cannot be held responsible in case a Member is dissatisfied with the service provided by a partner.
5.2 Obligations and Responsabilities of Members
The provisions of this Article shall apply without prejudice to Article 8 Termination.
In the course of using the Services, the Member undertakes not to undermine public order, to comply with laws and regulations, to respect the rights of third parties and the provisions of the previous conditions of use.
A Member has an obligation to:
Act fairly in relation to third parties, SocietyDining and other Members.
Provide accurate information SocietyDining.
Not communicate their SocietyDining password.
Respect their commitment when they receive email confirmation of event.
Respect the rights of others, of SocietyDining and other members.
Use the Services in accordance with the purposes described in these Terms and Conditions.
Do not use or divert SocietyDining Services for the purpose of committing crimes, misdemeanors or petty offenses punishable under Criminal Code.
Do not attempt to undermine the meaning of Article 323-1 of the Criminal Code systems automated data processing used by SocietyDining.
Do not use or divert SocietyDining for the purpose of the Services for commercial, professional or advertising reasons.
SocietyDining reserves the right to permanently terminate the accounts of Members not complying with these obligations.

Article 6: Privacy and Protection of Personal Data

For SocietyDining, protecting the privacy of its members and visitors is a top priority.
6.1 Registration CNIL
The provisions of this Article shall apply without prejudice to Article 8 Termination.
In accordance with Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 and Freedoms, SocietyDining recalls that the personal data of requested Members have been declared to the CNIL Declaration No. 129-20 – 13.
The member can access, modify, and delete concerning data by sending an email to SocietyDining at master@societydining.com.
The information collected is intended for use exclusively by SocietyDining. Any disclosure to third parties of personal data collected on behalf of the Members will be specifically requested in advance.
6.2 Personal data collected by SocietyDining
The Member is asked to fill in their personal information when registering; this data is necessary to take advantage of all the SocietyDining Services.
SocietyDining is committed to respecting the privacy of its members and assure the protection of their data.
The data are only accessible by administrators strictly authorized for this purpose.
For the purposes of payment, the bank details are collected by the payment provider PAYPAL, who use an encryption algorithm to generate two keys at the first data entry made by the card Member. One key is kept by the service provider and the other by SocietyDining; the parties cannot have and individually use the data bearing the cards from its Members.
Payment solution PAYPAL is PCI DSS certified by VISA and MASTERCARD: this is a standard international safety standard and aims to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of data of cardholders. It therefore secures the protection of data on the card and the transaction.
More generally, the personal information entrusted to SocietyDining will never be shared with third parties without the consent of the Member. They remain protected and will only be used in the operation of the SocietyDining Services.
6.3 Cookies
Cookies are used to facilitate navigation on the site. They store the personal information that the user has entered during his visit, namely:
SocietyDining uses “cookies” to store certain information. A cookie is a piece of data stored on your computer related to the use of your account data.
The Member may oppose the registration of cookies by configuring their browser to not save cookies.

Article 7: Intellectual Property

The SocietyDining mark and logos are the exclusive intellectual property law of SocietyDining and may not be reproduced, used or represented in any form whatsoever, in any medium whatsoever, by any media whatsoever, without the express permission of SocietyDining, under penalty of prosecution.
Graphics, photographs, animations, videos and texts contained on the site and more generally the elements to ensure or facilitate the airworthiness within the site – architecture, design, code pages, CSS pages, and other elements – are the exclusive intellectual property of SocietyDining and may not be reproduced, used or represented in any form whatsoever, in any medium or by any media whatsoever, without the express permission of SocietyDining, otherwise prosecution.
Members and visitors are forbidden to modify, copy, reproduce, upload, post, transmit, commercially exploit and / or distribute in any way the Services, the pages of the Site or the computer codes of elements comprising the Services and the Website.
More generally, all content on the www.SocietyDining.com site are the exclusive property of SocietyDining.

Article 8: Termination and Cancellation

Any subscription to a reservation can be repaid without penalty if payment is not due within 7 days from the event validation by sending an email request to: master@SocietyDining.com. SocietyDining will reimburse the member of the full amount paid within 12 days of receipt of the email.
If a group member cannot make a event, they must announce to SocietyDining by telephone or directly contacting master@SocietyDining.com.
SocietyDining may terminate your registration as a Member, with or without notice at any time and in its sole discretion.
If cancellation is made ​​less than 48 hours in advance, the group member must pay the full amount of the reservation deposit.

Article 9: Modification of Terms

SocietyDining reserves the right to revise and amend these T&Cs and at any time and any change will be effective upon publication.
Continued use of the Site by you after SocietyDining has released a new version of the T&Cs constitutes your consent to this new version. Therefore, it is important that you regularly read these T&Cs to ensure that you are aware of any changes that could be made.

Article 10: Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

Any dispute arising from the execution of these T&C shall be subject to English law and language interpretation of these T&Cs is the English language.
Any dispute arising from the execution of these T&C or in connection with these Conditions shall be submitted to the competent courts of England and Wales.
If one or more provisions of these T&C stay are declared no pursuant to any law, regulation or following a final decision of a competent court, other provisions remain in full force and effect subject to the present Terms are not misleading, and that this does not cause a significant imbalance in the obligations of the parties.
The fact that a party is not to claim a breach of the other party to any one of the provisions of these T&Cs shall be construed as a waiver of the right to rely in the future of such failure.

Article 11: Agreement

These T&Cs constitute a contract governing the relationship between the Member and SocietyDining. They constitute the entirety of the rules and obligations of the latter towards their Members.
